Promod Parts

Launch Campaign & Brand Photography

Playtime Studio was commissioned to create the launch photography and founder film for Promod Parts, the new sister company of Promod Works, founded by Michael Kotsev.

After nearly two decades working with supercars, race cars, and high-performance vehicles, Michael identified a gap in the market: high-quality modification parts for newer performance cars at a more accessible price point. Promod Parts was built to fill that gap, sourcing premium components globally while maintaining the same standards and attention to detail that established the Promod name.

The founder film gave Michael the opportunity to tell the story behind the company in his own words, including the unexpected influence The Fast and the Furious had on shaping his career nearly two decades earlier. That personal connection became an important part of the campaign: communicating not only what the company sells, but the passion and perspective behind it.

Photography focused on presenting the parts with the same level of care and aesthetic consideration that defines the broader Promod brand. Shot on a black mirrored surface, the final images were designed to feel sleek, technical, and high-end, reflecting the performance world the products belong to.

The account's most watched video

Michael had been posting to TikTok intermittently for some time, with his previous highest-performing video reaching around 10k views. Our goal was to rethink the creative approach and develop content designed around audience behavior rather than traditional promotional formats.

The concept was intentionally simple: put a single, opinion-driven question to Michael on camera — which car should you buy? — and let the automotive community debate it. Car enthusiasts rarely agree on anything, and the conversation quickly drove the kind of organic engagement algorithms reward.

The first video became the account's highest-performing post by a significant margin, generating a 20x increase in peak viewership and establishing a clear creative direction for future content.
